What is Scenic?
Scenic is a navigation app that helps you discover, create, and share the world's most beautiful routes--on foot, by bike, or on the road. It prioritises scenic quality over speed.
Can I create my own route?
Absolutely. Tap the "+" icon to start mapping a route. Add photos, tags, and descriptions, and choose whether to keep it private of share it publicly.
Can I download routes for offline use?
Yes, offline navigation will be available with a Scenic Pro subscription.
What are the guidelines for uploading media?
Keep content respectful, relevant, and free of offensive or misleading material. Come back here after launch to see our Route & Media Risk Policies in full detail.
Can I upload photos or videos to a route?
Yes. You can attach media to your route at the time of creation or later through editing.
Can I use AI-generated content?
AI-generated media is allowed in user posts and echos as long as it is clearly labeled. However, AI-generated content is strictly prohibited in media attached to routes.
Is Scenic available in English?
Yes. Scenic offers full bilingual support in English and Simplified Chinese. You can switch your language in Setting > Language.
How can I contribute to Scenic?
Share routes, invite friends, or apply to be a Scenic Ambassador. We also welcome feedback via our in-app form.
Will Scenic have community events?
Yes! We plan to implement online and offline events in later iterations to help connect route creators and explorers. Follow us on social media to stay updated.
